Sales Engineering Process

Utilizing effective advertising tools and collecting customer information, Nikan Sales Engineering Department, based on day-to-day management knowledge, records their exact specifications and requirements in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and effectively follows up their sales engineering activities. Customer-oriented and honest interactions with customers are the major responsibilities of the sales department.

In this department, providing comprehensive information on all products and services to customers through catalogs, brochures, websites, social networks and examples, customers are advised to select the most appropriate products in terms of quality and economic justification. Their wishes are ultimately taken to become technical specifications. Sales technicians conduct the projects regarding the design, product typing, calculations of required items and consumable glass, using appropriate facade and window design software such as LOGIKAL, AUTOCAD, 3D MAX. Our sales department specialized software in error-free calculations, has the ability to design sophisticated facades and windows, optimize profile cuts, accurate price calculations, pre-invoice and contract deliveries, and also it provides services to all customers in the shortest possible time.

Technical and Executive Unit

Providing superior installation and execution services on the Employer Projects site is an important part of Nikan Window Company’s activities. Therefore, in order to accurately conduct the projects, the technical and executive department of Nikan Engineering Company has calculated the value added and employers’ needs and implemented the projects in collaboration with two technical and executive units.

The ultimate goal of this department is to execute projects in a timely manner with the highest quality and building industry standards in order to deliver the project to our esteemed clients. In each project, a systematic workshop system has some responsibilities such as project delivery and workflow from the employer, equipping the workshop, preparing a detailed installation and execution plan, appointing and introducing the project manager to the client, preparing and controlling the workshop’s execution plans, providing and delivering required item. While conducting the projects, it is benefitted from
the help of experienced experts, quantitative control and quality supervision, and progress reports using software such as MSProject and Primavera. All project information and approvals are archived in the CRM system to manage project knowledge, and it is easy to retrieve the documentation of any project at the appropriate time.
Project Planning and Control Affairs, based on the knowledge of the project conditions and also coordination with the Client Project Manager, implements performs systematically the following activities in each project and in coordination with the Client Monitoring Unit:

PLANNING & SCHEDULING: After the approval of contract feasibility and the approval of the project by the client / employer, the contract would be signed. The Project Planning and Control Department initiates the project planning process after receiving a copy of the contract. In the first step, the Planning Manager completes the Project Identification Form aimed at full identification of the project, and following the preparation of Project Identification, he holds regular meetings with the Executive and Project Managers to identify such information as project activity failure structure, project prerequisites, time required for each activity, project resources, and implementation responsibility structure. Having obtained the above information, the planning experts, use a number of project control software such as MS PROJECT and PREMAVERA, to prepare the project timetable. The final plan would be handed to the employers and other project stakeholders (eg. technical and executive director Project Manager).
Also, some executive units (such as project workshop and contractors) would be notified of all or parts of the timetable relevant to their activities, if required.

SCHEDULE CONTROL: To keep track of project activities, the project control expert coordinates with the scheduling manager on a timely basis (weekly / daily) and especially at the end of each activity, with direct control of the progress of project activities in the workshop and other areas of execution. He also receives progress reports from the executor and obtains project progress information like percentage of progress, real time of work done, deviations from the program, and especially the reasons for such devations. The information will then be included in the project scheduling computer program and updated to the project schedule and progress report. A copy of the reports and description of these actions will be provided to the Client / Project Manager representatives after approval by the Planning Manager to be followed by appropriate reviews, other actions and possible changes adopted.
Based on the above, the project control process is summarized in the following steps:
Collecting and summarizing information on the project activities progress.
Processing information through updating the activities network.
Monitoring the timetable by checking activity progress trends, foreseeing future activity timetables, modifying agreed project deadlines, analyzing deviations from plans and suggesting necessary corrective actions.

Engineering Design Process

Design, Mapping and Research and Development (R&D) are the most important engineering departments in Nikan. In the design process, using the technical information approved in the contract, some activities would be in the process such as manufacturing and installation drawings, the optimum cutting profiles, calculations and sizes of glass, rubber used, fittings and their technical performance under the standard specifications and customers’ needs.
All designs and R&D activities in Nikan are carried out using state-of-the-art building standards and design software such as AUTO CAD, 3D MAX and specialized computational software LOGIKAL. Other activities of the Technical Engineering Department include modeling of the top products in the window and facade industry, optimizing products and presenting new designs to enhance the level of customer satisfaction from buying luxury and efficient products. Due to being coherent, information management system facilitates the execution of technical projects.

Manufacturing Process

Nikan Window Engineering Company customers always are after higher quality products, better price and better design. This important customer demand has led the company’s top executives to continue to strive to achieve maximum customer satisfaction through the use of new manufacturing systems and state-of-the-art technology.

Having proper factory production infrastructure, 2500 square meter, Nikan has German Almatek machines (CNC cutters, automatic milling machines, corner crimping, packing, etc.), all kinds of aluminum windows double glazed products with high quality and fast speed.
The specialized profiles used in the production are usually Burak Aluminum Turkish profiles, which are supplied with the best quality from European shafts such as Hydro Norway and RusAl.
All products are manufactured and marketed by specialized personnel who are trained working with machinery by the German company Almatek and are highly skilled in assembling all special equipment and accessories.
The factory benefits from The planning, control and quality assurance and safety system which has led to promote the quality level of production, and always monitoring and controling of the quantity and quality of production plans is carried out with the highest precision by the executives.

HSE Unit in Projects

The important duty of the Nikan HSE department is controlling the implementation of safety procedures in accordance with building safety regulations to prevent accidents resulting in injuries, casualties and financial losses in the operations and human resources safety in the workshops.
Therefore, the Project Safety Officer monitors pre-execution safety activities constantly and coordinates with the installation / implementation team supervisors and investigates activities which should be done before execution, if correct, complies with the standard requirements for project start-up authorization.
